Our Training Process

📚 Step 1: Study Material & Open-Book Test

Once payment is made, you'll receive your training books. You’ll complete an open-book test on your own time, within 3 months.

📝 Step 2: Closed-Book Exam & Practical

After the open-book test, you’ll schedule a session with an instructor. On that day, you’ll complete a closed-book exam followed by a practical shooting test.

📄 Step 3: Receive Proficiency Certificate

Once you pass both tests, you’ll receive a proficiency certificate. This is required by SAPS for your competency application.

💡 Important Info

• Duration depends on you — complete within 3 months to avoid extra fees.
• The first range fee, ammo, and firearm rental are included in your training cost.
• If you fail the practical, you’ll need to cover your own range fee and ammo for the retake.
